I absolutely love this movie so I have to give it 5 stars. It wasn't a blockbuster hit nor did it win any oscars. For that matter, it wasn't nominated for any awards to my knowledge. I remember seeing this when I was young and loved it. Okay, the hot guys in it didn't hurt matters either. My favorite character was Turtle. He was the one who always stood out to me plus he was a hilarious character. This is your typical 80's movie but to me it's one of the best ones. It was filmed in beautiful Hawaii so it can't be bad!

Other than Riding Giants, the deadliest surfing movie ever. One of my all time favourite movies growing up.

Cheesy acting but it is a fun movie to watch! You see more of what the surfers experience out in the Pipelines, doing the waves. It's a fun movie to watch and the water just makes you want to dive into it. Some classic jams by Steve Perry too. :D
