"That's Rick Kane...on my board...that I made. A little bit of that old style, Yeah?" Sugar cane fields, that song "Blue Hotel", John Philbin as Turtle ROCKS, former Partridge Susan Dey as Rick's mother, and _real_ great surfers.

Every kid in 1987 must have wanted to move to Hawaii to win surf competitions, date a local girl, and design surf logos during the summer before they go to graphic design school in New York. It is very charming though.
