Bear would Go! And So Would I!!! I love the relationship the boys have to this old mysterious guy known as Bear. You can see how this movie has acheived cult status in the global surfing community. It touches on so many relevant issues that yougn people face. Loved it. Fantatsic. And some great waves!

Looking back at the strong, young cast, the evocative sense of time and place and the thrilling ocean imagery, Big Wednesday certainly deserves a spot among the pantheon of classic surfing films.

One of the best surf movies of all times. I still get the chills when these old friends show up to surf together again at the end of the film.

there has never been a better film. In spite of its aggressive approach to narative it never loses it's affection for its characters. A strangely sappy and loving film despite none of it's characters being sappy or loving... Simply my favourite film of all time
