Nobody's Fool (2018)

After serving five years in prison, wild child Tanya looks to her buttoned-up, by-the-book sister Danica to help her get back on her feet. The feisty ex-con becomes suspicious and concerned when Danica tells her that she's in a long-distance, online relationship with a mysterious man she's never seen. As the polar opposites start to collide, Tanya soon discovers that her sibling's picture-perfect life may not be what it seems.

In the end, you feel like you’re the victim of a cruel bait-and-switch, lured into thinking Nobody’s Fool would be a crappy but nevertheless entertaining Tiffany Haddish movie, only to have it turn out to be a crappy but nevertheless crappy Tyler Perry movie. Talk about mixed feelings.

TYLER PERRY IS A GREAT ARTIST. HE HAS BUILT, BY HIMSELF, AN ENTIRE EMPIRE IN ATLANTA. THIS MOVIE IS RATED R. THAT IS NOT PART OF TYLER'S USUAL MOVIE FORMULA. SO THIS MOVIE IS NOT A USUAL TYLER PERRY MOVIE. SOMETIMES GREAT ARTISTS MUST STRETCH AND FIND NEW AVENUES. THIS IS WHAT THIS MOVIE IS. TYLER HAS THE LUXURY TO STRETCH WITH Tika Sumpter WHO IS WONDERFUL.

I went expecting to laugh but instead was very disappointed. Going to this movie was a waste of money. Not only was I disappointed in the movie but I left disappointed that Tyler Perry would make such a vulgar overladen with profanity movie. On top of that many of the things that happened in the movie were very unrealistic. Do not waste your time and money going to see this one.

Like the film itself is awful, with Whoopie and Haddish (who legit disappears mid-way through the plot) being the only saving graces, but damn did I see it with a fun audience...
