This movie was a fantastic mystery with comic elements and a surprising story line. Thoroughly enjoyed the setting and the unfolding plot.

"Nobody Else but You" is a complicated movie, and it's also a thrilling one because it so clearly knows what it's doing.

A stylishly shot film that's at once forlorn and hopeful, unfolding in a space that seems real and familiar, yet also a bit off-kilter and dreamlike. If it's a candle in the wind, it flickers some, but doesn't get blown out.

As slash fiction goes, it can only summon up a limited amount of the emotional devastation contained within the pages of Kathryn Hyatt's graphic novel "Marilyn for Beginners", but Quinton is such a bombshell filming cheese commercials and weather reports, and so tragic everywhere else she appears on screen, that "Poupoupidou" comes to serve as its own modest kind of tribute.
