Should have been nominated for Best Picture and Jake Gyllenhaal should have been nominated for Best Actor. Extremely interesting throughout the movie, very suspenseful at times, amazing tone, and extremely well acted. Top 5 best movie of the year.

All these negative comments about how bad this movie was...complete bullshit. I watched this movie again and it's better than the first time I watched it, even though the first time I watched it was an awesome experience. Jake in this movie is amazing as this character and if anyone disagrees you need to watch a real movie once in awhile. This movie deserved to be in the top 3 movies of this year.

The best movie of 2014 for me. Loved everything about it. The decline of morals, the manipulation of people who are manipulating people through the use of sensational TV.

This film is an excellent portrayal of our addiction to watching violent media and our ceaseless craving for true crime story's. This film will ,no doubt, be a timeless classic. the performances are top notch and made me forget I was just lazing around in my bedroom. A must watch for any neo noir enthusiasts.
