It seems Jason's had the upperhand on Freddy since at least 2003 when the the waterlogged brute walked triumphantly into the sunset clutching the nightmare pedo's head. Jason's reboot was better concieved as well as recieved and higher grossing. His first seven films got a snazzy, double-dip worth DVD re-release, the first three bursting onto Blu-ray. More coming.

If you have 3 hours and love the Nightmare films, I strongly encourage you sit down and watch this bad boy. I like it MUCH better than the Friday the 13th doc and loved the inside look into the old films.

A perfect documentary on arguably the definitive horror icon, Never Sleep Again is 4 hours of pure gold.

An almost exhaustively comprehensive (4 hours), always entertaining and often fascinating look at the making of one of the more ambitious and oddball series horror has to offer.

After 4 hours of this documentary I wanted even more!
