The critics are being way too harsh for a racing movie. This movie isn't as over-the-top as the Furious franchise, but the acting is way better. Some pretty good cinematography, and the lead actor and actress do a damn fine job. I liked it. I watch a boatload of movies and this is my first ever review. Its not that the movie was amazing, or the best thing ever, its just that the "critics" were way too harsh. This movie does not suck one bit.

I'm totally a fan of need for speed, I used to play this in the PC, PSP and PS2, and I'm deciding to buy it also in the PS4 after watching this film. I'm definitely 100% car enthusiast and Mustang fan and seeing this movie made me smile all the way just hearing those awesome engines roar to life and those shiny awesome cars that I've been watching on Top Gear. I'm a big fan of Aaron Paul because of Breaking Bad and kinda have a crush on Imogen Poots after seeing this film, seeing girls being enthusiastic about cars gets totally a thousand points to me. Technically need for speed I agree to the others saying that it has a weak plot and definitely disappointing character development but who cares it is all about the cars and the speed in the first place, and it actually achieved it.

I completely loved this movie. I wasn't expecting much, especially a good story. The story was great and it had many "edge of your seat" moments. The race scenes were done perfectly and much better then anything the Fast and furious movies offered. The only thing I couldn't understand was the purpose of the final race? Everyone races for pink slips of these million dollar cars, but they all get totaled lol 5/5
