Nanny McPhee appears at the door of a harried young mother who is trying to run the family farm while her husband is away at war. But once she's arrived, Nanny discovers that the children are fighting a war of their own against two spoiled city cousins who have just moved in. not our favorite family movie, but Emma Thompson's charm as the title character was good and the acting was decent.

James Newton Howard's music picks up its comic cues perhaps a bit too swiftly and loudly, but little of this detracts from the movie's many pleasures.

Bueno, que puedo decir de esta película? Puedo decir que me gusto, que la recomiendo, y que esta algo infravalorada. Es innegable que tiene personajes algo interesantes y que la película tenia bastante potencial. Aunque este potencial se hecha a perder por la comedia que intenta transmitir. Me gusto mucho la actuación de Emma Thompson en la película y tranquilamente puedo decir que es el mejor personaje por lejos en la misma, sin embargo, como ya dije antes, siento que esta película tiene mucho potencial que tira abajo por abarcar ese humor que se termina elevando bastante al final de la película donde tienen que desactivar la bomba y parece que los creadores no se lo tomaron muy en serio. Si hubiera sido mas seria hubieran tenido taquillazo. Aun así, Nanny McPhee es una gran película que pudo haber sido mejor. Nunca me olvidare de la gran nana, ya que es bastante carismática, tranquilamente podría ir en un top 20 el personaje.
