My Tehran for Sale (2009)

Marzieh is a young female actress living in Tehran. The authorities ban her theatre work and, like all young people in Iran, she is forced to lead a secret life in order to express herself artistically. It's a project , a very good idea for a movie .. but it's not a movie yet I was too disappointed !!

Complex and engaging, My Tehran For Sale is not a simplistic cry or a victim's story; it's a big subject and Granaz Moussavi handles it with grace and sensitivity

Smart, dark, insightful, brave, excellent acting and music. Top marks.

A confused portrait of a supposedly dramatic story struggling to evident the suppression of individuality in Iran. Awful story line and acting. Not recommended!
