Mr. Jones is a really bad found footage movie that creates no tension, has dumb characters, and doesn't even have any cheap jump scares to try and liven things up... There are just no redeeming qualities to this movie.

It all gets very artsy and weird in Act III (and I watched it twice) but hey, I'll take a bit of cerebral effort over just a bunch of door-slamming and bloodletting.

Almost works and actually reminded me of the book "House of Leaves". You'll wonder why it has such low ratings until about halfway when it totally plateaus. Shame.

I Didn't expect anything from this movie, but yet it was terribly bad! No jump-scares and no tension. The story is boring as f**k and all too predictable. Watch instead: The Blair Witch Project, Troll Hunter, The Fog (1980)
