Do not watch this! Horrible! Doesn't make much sense!

I am genuinely surprised at the poor reviews for this movie. I stumbled upon this on Netflix and took a chance. I was not disappointed. This is proof that a lot of lower-budget films are better than the crap Hollywood throws out constantly. The concept and idea behind the story is really original. The events that occur throughout are, as well. I wanted to know what would happen to the characters, but at the same time I was so mystified by the events that were occurring and wanted to keep watching. The nighttime sequences were oddly trippy. I can see how the end would not please everyone, but I liked how it was nothing like what we would have expected. This was a good little gem and I'm glad I watched it.

It all gets very artsy and weird in Act III (and I watched it twice) but hey, I'll take a bit of cerebral effort over just a bunch of door-slamming and bloodletting.

Crappy low budget horror flick with no real purpose.

"Mr. Jones" is an excellent attempt at bringing light, creativity, and original ideas back to the mockumentary genre. The results are uneven and slow, but also mind-bending and gripping, especially within its final act.
