meri maa ke kangan laa... dats da line foe which i wud watch dis whole movie again n' again... it made its way towards oscar... foe best foreign film in 60's... n' iz still one of da master peice!!!

This looks a bit creaky now, but it's a big, entertaining work, with echoes of The Good Earth and Gone With the Wind.
