a funny movie about a man who gets hired to play the part of a dictator of a country. because his face looked exacly like the dictator face who was killed. a must see.

"People of Parador, I love you. I love to love you. I love your mountains... and your, heh heh, your valleys. I want to swim in your rivers. I love you." Moon Over Parador is one of my favorite movies of all time. Cold war politics, South American containment, super-fascism, guerrilla war, the CIA, Sammy Davis Jr, and a young actor clash in this comedy of dictatorial proportions.

This movie tried to make me laugh, but it rarely succeeded. There is a decent story in here, but it doesn't always flow well. Richard Dreyfuss seems to have a lot of fun in the role, but it still isn't enough to save the film.

one of the funniest films you will ever see if you were stuck in 88, and now, its a classic, nothing compares, one of richs best films, and there are a lot of other talented actors in this, its a masterpiece, a rare gem.
