It's not ez finding a movie with real characters and story these days. I loved this movie set in Nova Scotia. During the entire movie the theater patrons were totally silent and into the film. After the movie ended no one in the theater got up until after all the credits finished. I've never seen that happen before. We were all trying to extend the moment as long as possible. Please movie makers, make more films like this!!!

Best movie I've seen this year. Ethan Hawke and Sally Hawkins are just stunning. They give these beautifully layered performances. Lovely, lovely film.

Eye candy cinematography. The film in itself is a work of art. This film is slow moving and deliberate. It is not for people who need fast action. Thinking back on the story line a lot was going on. When watching the movie it seemed very slow because a lot depended on body language and facial expression of the actors. I hope it wins best cinematography in the 2018 Academy Awards.

O roteiro baseado nessa inacreditável história real, não perde oportunidades enviar falsas provas para a protagonista, Maudie, de que ela não é capaz de gerar coisas perfeitas, sua saúde, sua vida, seus relacionamentos, sua filha e também sua arte. A grande catarse vem ao enxergarmos, que ao superar todos os obstáculos, sacrificando seu conforto, estabilidade e também sua postura e saúde, ela supera com grandiosidade qualquer expectativa, deixando para trás sua vida e arte, que juntas, são capazes de tornar o mundo um lugar melhor.
