I know the critics don't like it, but I do. Pilar Lopez perfectly portrays a woman driven mad by love - her desire to love and to be loved by an unfaithful husband is a very real phenomenon still relevant today. Brilliant acting by the leads...the movie uncovers the madness of the upper classes and royalty, how far a woman is willing to go for undivided affection, and how little a man has to do to break a heart.

It is hard to draw the line between love and possession. In fact, when you know you cannot trust your lover and you cannot leave him, you are destined to madness. She is drowned by her despair love and her lover's affairs. When your lover is not loyal, you either give it up and leave with broken heart, or you are driven crazy with your heart bleeding and head splitting.
