Like a luxurious bath with a good book, this is Bollywood Terrance Malick style. Quiet, sumptuous, simple. Even as it turns into a typical potboiler, it keeps a dignified grace. If you need a break from loud summer movies, this is it.

It's not at all trite to state that by the hauntingly bittersweet end, everything magically falls into place, for there is true magic in Motwane's mastery in crafting a such a poetic, passionately felt, and perfectly realized work of art.

shot well. acting bril never thought ranveer could do a good job. sonakishi is bril.. story is ok.. 1t half good, 2ndhalf slow. but performancs and music make up for it..

Never thought I would enjoy a romantic film ! Watch Lootera for the direction, the background score, the cinematography. Definitely slow but i liked it. The last 15mins of the first half are just superb ! I enjoyed those 15mins more than anything else ! O Henry's short story The Last Leaf is well put in the film. The sub-plot is superb ! Dalhousie is beautifully shot ! Take a bow Vikramaditya Motwane !
