This was a touching little film about the relationship between a private investigator and his client who end up becoming friends. It was a bit slow at times, but sweet and a bit sad too. It kept me engaged at all times even though I'm starting to think that Edward Burns is kind of a one trick acting pony. I like him though! David Krumholtz really stole the movie.

Burns seems not nearly as engaged with his story as one would hope. And why should he be? He could write another like this before lunch.

Burn's umpteenth attempt at NY comedy has him playing a detective hired to find Krumholtz (brilliant)wife who has gone missing. Slow burner, meandering at times but funny more often than not.

One of my favorite Ed Burns films. It was funny, sentimental. A great character piece. David Krumholtz was fantastic. Ed Burns was great.
