Just three weeks before her wedding, Lola's longtime fiance, Luke, dumps her. "Lola Versus" takes the Lego-piece building blocks of a New York City relationship comedy and turns it into something more asymmetrical and ironic and interesting.

As this movie progressed I realized more and more that the writer apparently had an inside glimpse at my life and decided to make a movie about it ... and that's pretty f-ing sad... hahah... Yet I somehow feel better about the fact that I'm not the only screwed up one

This movie had me laughing on the ground. I wonder, as a twenty/thirty/whatever person, if I've ever felt so validated by a movie that isn't say, French. Lola sums it up: not kind parents, good friends, nor even blondeness or thinness helps. it's a really funny, honest movie!
