Hits the bull's eye with its portrait of the ludicrous lengths actors and actresses in New York City will go to achieve celebrity status.

Pam Grady 19 Oct 2001

A marshmallow-soft satire that eventually peters out into sticky near-melodrama.

Jessica Winter 20 Aug 2001

Comes down to two sorely limited and rapidly tiresome characters.

Mirko B 14 Nov 2007

Argh, it seems my personal touchstone for the mockumentary, Dadetown, is never to be topped. Nevertheless, this contribution to the genre has its share of laughs at the expense of actors, struggling and experienced.

Mari F 10 Jun 2007

A hilarious spoof on trying to make it as an actor.
