Young graduate student Jane Chase becomes the new assistant to an eccentric zoology professor at the remote home he shares with two brilliant chimpanzees and an elderly orangutan butler named Link. But when one of the chimps is found dead and the professor mysteriously disappears, Link becomes dangerously aggressive towards Jane. Now, the time for "monkey business" is over and the true terror is about to begin.

Man that orangutan is an a-hole! This is an ok suspense film about a monkey terrorizing Elisabeth Shue. It's hard to believe that she did a nude scene a year before Adventures In Babysitting!

Given Hollywood's sketchy record with monkey movies, Link compares relatively well and rates as moderately successful.

When the Cannon logo came up @ the beginning of Link I was hoping for something better then what I had heard about this monkey gone amuck movie. Sadly no. It just felt like it went on forever, bored the shit out of me & the personal highlight it held was seeing Elisabeth Shue briefly naked. @ least that woke me up. I find chimps annoying anyways so I don't know what I was really expecting. It was just sorta one of those movies that I remember being on the shelves of Canadian Tire when they were a hot spot for renting video. Bombed @ the show & video & not really talked about now it's sorta embarassing. Like I said the only good part is Shue's tits & ass

A young zoology student takes a job with a professor as his assistant working with three chimpanzees. When one chimp trained to be a perfect butler seems to figure out that he is to be put down, he kills the professor and traps the assistant in the hilltop residence as servant becomes master. Suspense builds a bit here as you go in the latter half. Helped by Elisabeth Shue, who always seemed to be a cut above her peers. Another solid effort from the Cannon Group.
