As a huge electrical storm sweeps towards Texas, lineman Beau Ginner is haunted by memories of his brother's death by lightning years earlier. Since that tragic day, he has raised his niece Bailey and risen to foreman of a lineman team. However, there is friction when Bailey's on-off boyfriend Duncan joins the crew, while another new recruit is hiding PTSD symptoms. Beau and his team are soon putting their lives at risk in a race to replace miles of power cables to keep the electrical grid running before the deadly lightning storm strikes. Based on a true story; this film is a tribute to the heroes who risk it all to keep us safe.

The narrative is so predictable that, when an outburst of trash-talking doesn’t escalate into a barroom brawl, it’s not just surprising, it’s pretty close to shocking.

For a film about such a singular profession, Life on the Line offers surprisingly little insight into linemen's day-to-day labor.

An odd cross between General Hospital and Train Wrecks Gone Wild. Gotta say I was checking the time left pretty often. This movie was pretty bad by any standard.

Personally i loved this movie. No complaints. Granted I'm no critic but it was very insightful of the risks of the guy and girls who put their life on the line to restore what we take for granted everyday.
