Overeducated and underemployed, 28 year old Megan is in the throes of a quarterlife crisis. Squarely into adulthood with no career prospects, no particular motivation to think about her future and no one to relate to, Megan is comfortable lagging a few steps behind - while her friends check off milestones and celebrate their new grown-up status. When her high-school sweetheart proposes, Megan panics and- given an unexpected opportunity to escape for a week - hides out in the home of her new friend, 16-year old Annika and Annika's world-weary single dad Craig.

Keira Knightley frees herself of the trappings of costume drama to deliver a delightfully loose and engagingly funny performance.

Moretz and Knightley make a funny pair in this controversial comedy but the ending differing with Rockwell and (Preston off Jessabelle) is somehow disappointing, as Rockwell isn't likable in the film.

I didn't love it, I didn't hate it...it just felt average and adequate to me. I do love Keira Knightley & Chloe Grace Moretz so they certainly elevated this movie above what the script alone was offering. It's cute and sweet at best.

Sam Rockwell proves once again that he makes every coming-of-age movie infinitely better. He does it here, he did it with The Way Way Back and especially in The Green Mile. :P
