Spotty acting, flashes of crass dialogue, some questionable camera work and awkward storytelling — including a surfeit of phone conversations — further sink this well-meaning effort.

L.A. Superheroes is hilarious, vibrant and complex. It addresses the issues our society struggles with: authentic relationships, the definition of success and staying true to one's vision and truth. The questions it raises are those of a generation of people seeking purpose in a world of superficial values and goals. It brings together a talented cast with the intent to inspire, uplift and entertain. A must-see!

this is a great movie and amazing performances from the actors

It's a movie by people who lifted almost all their ideas from much better movies, and lean too heavily on "based on a true story" to pave over their film's weaknesses.

L.A. Superheroes is at times endearing, humorous and insightful. But her golden nugget of a story idea suffers in the big-screen telling.
