La Bamba (1987)

Los Angeles teenager Ritchie Valens becomes an overnight rock 'n' roll success in 1958, thanks to a love ballad called "Donna" that he wrote for his girlfriend. But as his star rises, Valens has conflicts with his jealous brother, Bob, and becomes haunted by a recurring nightmare of a plane crash just as he begins his first national tour alongside Buddy Holly.

It's sad that Ritchie Valens died in a plane the same plane where Buddy Holly died. It's the day the music died... I love the title song

I saw this movie when I was six years old and it has always stayed close to my heart. An inspiring story of living out your dreams at every moment because you never know when it can all be taken from you. OH DONNA
