A masterfully shot and a fun adventure film about the real life expedition that took place in the 1940s about a group of Norwegians who were out to prove that Polynesians were in fact met by the Peruvians 1500 years prior to previous theories. Thor and his team trek across the pacific on nothing but a raft out to prove this theory. The fantastic shots of nature mixed with the tension of if these men on a raft will make it to their destination makes for great entertainment. I saw the English dub version of this Norwegian film and I honestly thought I was watching an English movie the whole time, it's that good. And if you like old school adventure films, this one is for you.

After watching it the second time, I really enjoyed it! Extremely well made for a scandinavian film. It's a fantastic story, that may imply more stupidity and fool-hearty courage, than reason. But they did this in real life. Of course some scenes and characters has been dramatized. Great CGI and music! Adventurous joy-ride!
