Beautiful vampire Djuna tries to resist the advances of the handsome, human screenwriter Paolo, but eventually gives in to their passion. I'll admit it. I got this flick because it looked like the antithesis to 'Twilight', albeit a trashy converse. I knew it couldn't be terribly good, when the "major" star of the flick was Milo Ventimiglia ("Heroes"). Although, I do think he's better than many of the A-list stars (read: Robert Pattison) filling multiplexes these days. However, his lovely co-stars, Josephine de La Baume, Roxane Mesquida, and Anna Mouglalis are unknowns and still chew up the screen more than Kristen Stewart ever could. The flick is a little trashy, doesn't really add anything to the vampire mythos, and feels too pretentious in its filming style for its own good. But at least the immortals don't sparkle.

The only thing scary about this vampire movie is that I wasted the time to sit through it! This is actually a worse love story than Twilight!
