A desperate young writer is lured on a wild ride through the desert by a mysterious woman in this darkly comic take on the all-American road trip. This movie was wierd! I don't think I understood everyting either. This is a movie that I wouldn't watch twice.

The best thing about this movie was probably how overwhelmed I felt by each character's emotional state. I thought it was- heartfelt, sexy and totally disturbing.

WTF!??!? Some great performances (Fares Fares as a chauffeur who may or may not be a hit man, and Stellan Skarsgard as a suicidal transvestite) but this script is all over the place! Schizophrenic and sketchy in places, whilst cliched in others...a very weird film.
