The long takes, the creeping tension and the increasing and crude violence, work just like they should. It's an interesting, and maybe too daring, experiment

Not bad, on technical angle. But for the plot, it's just average. I somehow thought I was watching another "Funny Games".

The long takes and lack of theatrical affect are presumably meant to heighten the realism by dispensing with film - fiction artifice, but in the process, everything that might lure a viewer - the seduction of style and plot or an engagement with characters - is forgotten.

Do not watch the dubbed english version. This was a freaking great story & filmed with precision

A pretty nifty Spanish home invasion thriller about a family who's night is interupted by three masked men demanding money. One of the robbers drags the father out to empty his ATM accounts while the mother and daughter are left at home with the other two intruders, one of which is more deranged and less professional than his two companions. Its a pretty tense and effective thriller that descends into being much more vicious and nasty come the finally. I love a bleak ending so this movie didnt disappoint.
