Secuestrados. Cuando una película consigue que no quites la mirada de la pantalla, ya logró su propósito con creces. Sumémosle tensión, angustia y estrés, a un alto grado!! (wins). Realista e impactante, pero sobretodo bien hecha, buen trabajo delante y sobretodo detrás de cámaras. No apta para sensibles.. Secuestrados logra dejarte mal y ese es su principal propósito.

As most of Kidnapped is devoted to watching people in extreme duress, leaving room for little else, it follows that the film exists solely to be "intense." Kidnapped is a middling film, although it does have some impressive elements. "Rather than being gritty and suspenseful, it chooses to just make a gigantic mess. The over-acting really detracted me from the movie, and Vivas actually seems to be attempting to go for some deeper meaning here, which is laughable. The sheer extremity of the final 30 minutes is really the only point."

More interesting as a technical achievement than as a suspense/horror film, but still also not even really that effective on a technical side either since this type of thing, a movie put together from a limited amount of very long takes, has been done better before (Irreversible, Rope). I thought the daughter was good, but the whimpering got to be a bit much during the last twenty minutes or so. The opening of the film didn't tie in very well, too much guesswork has to be done to even imagine how it fits, also...nobody actually gets kidnapped as far as the standard definition of the word goes. I was surprised by how long and standard this hour and twenty minutes felt.

Though "Kidnapped"s plot is not new, it is a well crafted Spanish thriller that delivers tension in a claustrophobic space with nasty, brutal and violent scenes that will make you turn your face a couple of time. I also enjoyed the ending. Let yourself be kidnapped by this thriller!
