A cool story because it was a true story. Some barely tolerable acting however.

It's a good, not great, movie. They should have called it "Breaking Bud" because it is a lot more like the TV series "Breaking Bad" than the type of stoner comedies the name "Kid Cannabis" brings to mind. I actually enjoyed the piece but found my attention wandering at times. I think it would have benefited from a different director - someone who didn't also write the script - to tighten things up and bring focus to the important bits. As it stands the film is an imperfect telling of a good story.

Could not believe this movie was a true story. I highly recommend to watch, and you don't have to be a stoner to enjoy the flick. There is humor, violence, and drama-all things I particular enjoy.

This movie had the potential to be really good. The story sounds interesting and exciting, which you think would translate well on-screen. Unfortunately, this film suffers from an identity crisis that made it really hard for me to get into it. It's a serious story based on true events, but some of the time it almost feels like you're getting a comedy vibe, which doesn't really work well. I think a darker, more dramatic tone would have made this film a lot better.

Loved it, it had everything. It was a really exciting movie. It isnt a normal movie it is about real life about poverty and what makes you make the wrong and good choices in life, based on a true story? Yeah, its a drama....Almost no action at all, but it was exciting =)....
