Director Ray Enright makes the Audie Murphy B-movie western 'Kansas Raiders' look better than this Universal-International release has any right. Short, sweet, and simple... More recruits for the butcher brigade--Murphy plays Jesse James who rides with his brother and the Dalton boys to join up with Quantrill -- to continue the war in the Midwest!!

[i]Kansas Raiders[/i] is a neat little film, with a higher budget than most Audie Murphy westerns. An interesting cast that includes Tony Curtis, Richard Arlen, and Audie Murphy. This movie is an ambitious and ambiguous premise make this a worthwhile way of passing the time.
