Jurassic Park (1993)

A wealthy entrepreneur secretly creates a theme park featuring living dinosaurs drawn from prehistoric DNA. My favorite dino flick ever! It is such a fun movie, I mean come on dinosaurs are on a island in the present! So cool! See it

Jurassic Park is one of the greatest movies ever made. I can still remember seeing this in theaters as a child and being blown away by how real the dinosaurs looked and after recently rewatching the film the special effects still hold up amazingly. They still look as real as they did in the 90's. The story and cast are phenomenal. There is so much love. The direction by Steven Spielberg is fantastic. There are scares, laughs and plenty of wonder. The sounds are epic and the soundtrack by Williams is one of the best ever made. This is a masterpiece of a movie that should be seen by all!

Easily still holds up as one of my favorite movies of all time. Jurassic Park is an absolute classic, a well deserved one at that. It's a thrilling dinosaur film with great acting, writing and music.

One of the beloved movies from my youth, I was completely amazed when I came back to this movie in my mid-twenties and watched it again. What truly amazed me was how well it has still held up. When compared to the current generation of special effects, sound, and animatronics, it not only holds up to them, it even surpasses them in some ways. Consider now that this movie was made in 1993, when computers were a completely new idea for special effects, and this movies visuals are even more astounding. Every dinosaur is 100% believeable, which is quite the feat considering none of us had ever actually seen a real dinosaur before. The action, excitement, humor, and music combined with the stunning visuals make this one of those rare movies with remarkable longevity. A movie I hope to show my kids some day so that they can be captivated just as much as I was my first time seeing it.
