Walter Hill is a underrated director and this movie proves it. It has a awesome cast for a movie that i was completely unfamilar with.

The underrated, old-fashioned B-movie director Walter Hill (The Warriors) made this excellent action drama with an amazing cast.

A film noir-ish B-movie from the master of the streets, Walter Hill. Rourke plays a deformed man who is done wrong. he gets his face fixed, then goes seeking vengeance. Great sleazy turns from Ellen Barkin and Lance Henriksen.

This movie is what I call an in-between placing between good and pretty good..... mickey's character was bought out, but could have been touched up better..... he played the role to perfection in what he was asked to do... may be required a better script.... the other characters were a damp squib on the whole plot...
