Too short. Good rehash of a classic story which was done for the Superfriends years ago, and possibly for one of the Justice League Unlimited episodes. I always enjoy a good Justice League vs. Legion of Doom story. One glitch in the story though, if Super Man never existed, then neither would Bizzaro.

A pretty decent Justice League movie, especially since it was a Target exclusive.

The Justice League faces a challenge unlike any before in JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time. In the far distant future two Justice League candidates, Dawnstar and Karate Kid, accidentally release a frozen Lex Luthor; who in turn frees a dangerous villain known as the Time Trapper and travels back in time with a plan to prevent Superman from growing up on Earth and forming the Justice League. The film makes good use of the Legion and League characters, including a lot of fan favorites (Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Bizarro, Toy Maker, etc.). Also, the voice work is well-done and the art is really crisp and vibrant. However, the time travel plot is pretty standard, following the usual tropes and clichés. Still, JLA Adventures: Trapped in Time is an action-packed and entertaining superhero adventure.

its made for kids but never talks down to them and has its moments for other fans.

It's the old retro JLA savin the day. It feels like a extended episode of the Super Friends or the The Super Powers Team show. And it's not just for nostalgia sake, it was really well made (well except for the obvious time travel plot holes that you'd expect), even if it was pretty short. It's a damn shame that this DTV that's directed towards kids trumps Justice League: War by miles. It tells you how much DC is crapping on their characters with the new 52.
