That feeling of falling in love with a film is hard to come by. When it does happen though that's a cloud you don't want come down from.

This is a hilarious, horrifying, psychedelic, "Mulholland Drive" meets "Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" trip of a film. See it, now. That's all I can say. Read nothing else about the film, its twists and turns are beautiful.

I randomly chose this movie on HBO Go, and much to my delight, could not stop watching. Joaquin is nothing short of a genius, his facial expressions, physical reactions and acting are superb. The movie is mysteriously funny, off-kilter but Immensely relatable. I was drawn into a time and place brought about by superior acting, writing and directing. My hat is off to Anderson, despite some negative reviews, which by the way, are totally undeserving.
