It's neither remotely convincing as true-to-life drama or lurid and propulsive enough to work as exploitation. It's just bad.

intense and powerful drama about a family looking 4 lungs 4 their daughter and 'organ tourism' in a 'babel'-like style

A district attorney father whose young daughter has been taken off the national transplant registry because her lungs have deteriorated too much, goes to Juarez, Mexico with a wad of cash after he hears about a black market transplant operation run by a Dr Navarro there... This was exciting, but very violent at times and I had a hard time understanding why so much violence was used. It did hold my attention throughout though. Three stars.

Good, but far from great. Not sure how realistic this film portrayed it's subject matter but regardless was a an alright watch.

Strong drama/theme. Powerful acting about life choices. Leaves you thinking about what you would do if you were in that situaton.
