easily one of my favorite comedies of all time. well acted. clever moments, and just put together really well. absolutely over the top and ridiculous! it just makes me laugh a lot!

Fantastic film! Kevin Kline is class as usual and again lots of lines that just stick in your head 'Are we a little tea pot?!' Absolutely hilarious!

EXTREMELY funny i couldnt stop smiling throughout the whole movie i laughed and smiled and i loved it, in the past 2 days i already know the words ive seen it so many times. the most underrated comedys ever i only came across it buy chance and im surprised its not that big! its not and old movie , kevin kline looks and acts amazing in this and its very funny i dont understand why its not on all shelves in stores! would recommend to anyone at points shows how hard it is for gay people to come out but it does have a funny side. great preformance by all the cast. Frank Oz has made this movie amazing! its an amazing script,cast,director and an amazingly funny comedy

Paul Rudnick has written great gay comedies ("Jeffrey", "Regrets Only"), but his transition to films with such movies as "Addams Family Values" and "In & Out" is overall, still quite good. This movie is funny, funny, funny, poking at stereotypes hilariously but with a good-natured, non-abrasive self-awareness. Add to that a chuckle-inducing cast (Kevin Kline is unbelievable here), and you have a good comedy.
