The drama works only in fits and starts. The vague danger that shapes it, and the narrative's underlying emotional intricacies, are too often explained rather than felt.

I’m Your Woman benefits greatly from its off-kilter rhythms and intuitive digressions, even if it can be tonally uneven and a little obvious thematically at times.

Decent overall. The story just wasn't compelling or interesting enough to stand out. The climax was underwhelming. Performances were good and the setting well rendered. Rachel Brosnahan's performance was strong but limited by the muted arc of the story.
