Peter Sellers, Terry-Thomas and Irene Handl give brilliant character performances in this classic from the 50's. Satire encompassing the class sytem, industry and trade unions, and even an early sweep at the spin of advertising.

Slow building, but hysterical drama regarding industrial relations, unions and international trade. While Ian Carmichael is the lead, the supporting cast of Peter Sellers, Terry Thomas, Richard Attenborough and Margaret Rutherford really steal the show. Made in England in 1959, it's interesting to note the racial terminology which would be offensive today and the strong poke taken toward the union workers who are portrayed as lazy slobs that are bilking the companies.

This comedy is bursting at the seams with British stars and makes fun in equal shares of those on all sides of industry - workers, managers and entrepreneurs. It showed how much the country has changed in 50 years, but I guess that in the idea "I'm all right Jack" some things never change!

...the Boulting brothers' acerbic satire I'm All Right Jack (1959) is a merciless and hilarious dagger thrown at both Labor and Management, two opposing factions each rotten with exclusive self-interest.

Classic satire/comedy with a fantastic cast... This was the first film to show Peter Sellers at his full potential (only in Dr. Strangelove and Being There is he this good...). Thematically it covers similar territory to The Man In The White Suit, though it is a much more raucous ,in yer face film. Quite simply the pinnacle of British comedy...
