John Mills is just superb. And the last scene with the beer in the bar is one I often thought about when I was in the Mid East

A classic wartime adventure of a diferent kind, as we follow medics escaping and making there way across rough terrain with enemy everywhere and a possible nazi amoung them. this film is also famous for that famous bit towards end where they finally get to drink a cold one. this filmn plays well and the film keeps its momentum.

I fell in love with the desert when I watched this film at the age of 8. I now live in the desert and don't regret it at all. A real adventure story, great performances all round, and Sylvia Sims remains one of the most stunning women to have graced the silver screen.
