A classic wartime great , make sure you have acold beer in the fridge at the end you'll be reaching for it!

This is my fave war movies of all time. It shows that even if you are in different sides, when faced with a choice of fighting or working together to survive differences get put aside and people are seen for what they are on the inside. I also want a beer after I watch it. EVERY TIME!!!

Classic British war-film - albeit one with no battle scenes and no obvious 'bad-guy'. The sense of toil and arduousness of the desert trek is palpable and the final scene with the ice cold beers is deservedly a great moment in cinema - although i would have made the barman do it again and pour them properly.
