isn't hitchcock's best but shows the conflict of a man obeying his order as a priest or as a law-abiding citizen

Montgomery clift...why the priesthood? Great Hitchcock film. Recommend!

Maybe my favorite Hitchcock movie yet. Great story about a man trying to do what's right, without flinching despite pressure. Really well shot and good pacing.

Great, if overlooked, Hitchcock thriller. The black and white cinematography is superb, and the use of Quebec City gives the movie a special look and feel. I had no idea Hitchcock directed a movie in my own province, and it was very cool seeing streets and landmarks I already went to. Also, one of the most serious Hitchcock movie, and an interesting twist on the "wrong man" concept seen in so many of his movies.
