A priest hears his parishioner confess to a murder that he is then accused of. Since he is a priest, he can't tell the police what he heard in confidence. What would you do? Moral dilemmas and fascinating characters make this a gripping and entertaining watch.

Everyone knows that Priests don't kill people. They just rape little boys. That fact along should tell you Montgomery Clift is innocent!

Brilliant! Great hero in Fr. Logan. Hitchcock delivers on how the sanctity of confession is greater than the law, and the truth will prevail no matter the obstacles or extreme situations. More of a provocative drama than a fullout suspense, I really enjoyed how this movie resolved itself using Christ imagery to bolster Fr. Logan. Hitchcock does it again.
