The greatest football story ever told. Great archive footage and interviews with a snappy 70's soundtrack. A lot of old ground covered but it is still fresh and a real feel good film. One complaint would be that it should have went right through the next season and on to Madrid. Division two, Division one champions, followed by back to back European Cups. It will never happen again. In an era of greed, money, boring cunts and no characters, this documentary is so refreshing.

I was underwhelmed by the book, and I have the same frustrations with the movie. Yes it is an amazing story, but to tell it you have the players' after dinner circuit tales. Amusing yes, factual no; exaggerated yep. My wife recorded over my European goal with Who Shot JR. Really, that was 1981 and your goal was 1979? They make a desperate attempt to recreate the excellent NY Cosmos documentary Once In A Lifetime with a 70s disco soundtrack. But this is Nottingham not Studio 54.

Absoutely brilliant film and reminded me how brilliant Clough was :-D Mourinho is a little bit like Clough-lite :-P it did feel a little rushed at the end (oh and they defended the European Cup against Keegans Hamburg :-o ) best part of the film is Martin O'Neil at the end having a Clough moment against Adrian Chiles, Vieira and Cannavaro was priceless :-D to Chiles "I've actually played football, no i didn't wear glasses back then" to Vieira and Cannavaro "I've won Two European Cups!!! how many have you two won" :-D

Those talking heads are interspersed with archive footage of the great man himself. There is great joy in this tale of the underdog. There is only one Brian Clough.
