Excellent doc about the (mostly) gay community trying to get attention for the HIV/AIDS epidemic, research, and expedited drug approval during the worst years of the disease. This may only show a fraction of the AIDS tragedy, but I think it's a necessary one & one worth learning from. It was very we...read morell edited and they chose the archival footage very wisely. Well put together and definately worth recommending. Told stories and introduced me to heroes of the cause that I was unaware of before.

An amazing and powerful documentary, in parts infuriating and uplifting. We owe such a huge debt to ACT-UP for their activism in the early years of the epidemic.

Thankfully the battle against AIDS is becoming ancient history (at least this side of Africa). This documentary reminds us of the grim fight to change attitudes and the number of people who unfortunately died before better treatment options could be developed.
