Belushi also controls a wicked array of conspiratorial expressions with the audience. His smoldering pouts, crazed gleams, elevating eyebrows and erotically-contended smiles generate gleeful rabble-rousing excitement. And he can seem irresistibly funny in repose or invest minor slapstick opportunities with a streak of genius.

Toga, toga, toga! One of the funniest, enthusiastically silly movies I've ever seen. Everything from the stupid, yet still likable main characters to the self-consciously juvenile humor, this is the definition of a comedy classic and will have you on the floor laughing almost throughout the movie. In addition, this movie is endlessly quotable. "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?! Hell no!" And one of my favorites, "Seven years of college down the drain..." Oh, and the ending is particularly hilarious.

Delightful comedy, with outstanding performances from many in the cast, including Art Carney, Glenda Jackson, Walter Matthau and Richard Benjamin. Art Carney's character is hilarious, Glenda Jackson has a wonderful sense of humor. The writing is fresh and funny, the pace is awesome. Great from start to finish.

This 1970's Matthau film has some enjoyable moments of levity, but doesn't have much mass appeal. The film is about a widower and surgeon (played by Matthau) and a divorcee (played by Jackson) starting a new relationship for the first time in decades. The target audience is pretty much the character's own demographic (i.e., middle-aged men and women) and will bore younger viewers who will also find the movie extremely dated. Matthau and Jackson are both celebrated actors and are better than the unfulfilling script allows them to be. Carney plays an aging forgetful doctor in a role definitely intended to add humour, but severely missed the mark.
