Hard to watch, but it was worth it. Vicki shows her wit by manipulating her captors against each other, calling Evie's bluff, and hiding messages in letters. We don't learn much about John, but Evie has a rich history of abuse that facilitated her repetition of the cycle and made it easy for Vicki to abuse her humanity.

'Hounds of Love' was a 2016 Australian psychological horror drama film written and directed by Ben Young, in his feature film debut. It centers on a couple who kidnap and victimize a young woman while her family attempts to figure out how she went missing. It's marvelous. Wonderful acting combined with an tense thriller makes this confounding and scary. Even though I could see the ending a mile away, the path it took to get there was totally worth it! Final Score: 8.3/10

to be honest this film is nothing short of a masterpiece in the horror/thriller genra. It is slightly disturbing until the end and it is slightly frustrating until the end but the acting and directing and also the sound track are all fantastic. It's a must watch if you like disturbing movies that get you feeling slightly disturbed.
