Four ladies saw this movie and laughed their butts off. We thoroughly enjoyed this movie! It is fun! So maybe some of the plot points are hard to swallow, but there are some funny running gags throughout that cracked us all up. Reese Witherspoon is adorable as the by the book female cop trying desperately to live up to her father's reputation while overcoming an unfortunate mistake that the other cops joke about. Sofia Vergara is exactly what you would expect as the drug lord wife who lives in luxury and insists on dragging her suitcase behind her while wearing impossibly high heels. The two ladies butt heads at every turn, but ultimately have to count on each other to stay alive. This movie will never win any Oscars, but for regular, non-critical movie goers, it is a fun one if all you want is to be entertained. Go see it! Especially you ladies. You will get a kick out of it.

I enjoyed this movie and it was hilarious but I think it has too much with the sexual content. Reece Witherspoon is such a great actor though. Some of the jokes they used were funny.

This was a stupid film. I felt I needed to stress 'stupid' by repetition at least three times, but I think people are smart enough to understand my emphasis on the word. What the distributors didn't realize was how the script is unfunny, the story is so dated and useless as any real money maker, and that although Sofia Vergara is still gorgeous and has some chemistry with Reese Witherspoon, it can't help any film like 'Hot Pursuit' survive.

What’s spanglish for déjà vu? There’s hardly a single moment in Hot Pursuit that won’t remind you of scenes you’ve seen at the multiplex a thousand times before. (The movie’s original title was Don’t Mess With Texas, probably because Thelma & Louise Ride the Pineapple Express All the Way to Jump Street — and They’ve Got Lethal Weapons, Y’all! was just too long.)
