"Sunny side, up, Sunny side down, Sunny side all the way around." "You can ski on the right side. You can ski on the left side, but you cannot ski on the middle" reply to that, "You can kiss my a$$. Not on the right side. Not on the left side, but right in the middle" Funny lines and good skiing Chinese downhill, too

Compelling, multi-layered, and action packed with sweet fashions and synth music from 1984. The questionable political correctness of the Chinese Downhill. Plus it has boobies. What's not to like!

This wasn't what I was expecting at all. It was an awful movie. Definitely one of the worst I've seen in awhile. Not even worth the time.

This movie set the standard for naughty/funny behavior on ski slopes and while on vacation. David Naughton (of American Werewolf in London) proves to be a great comedy presence in his educating the newby skier Harkin Banks in Squaw Valley during a skiing competition. The entire storyline is based around an up and coming skier, the shenanigens they get into including great parties as well as the problematic scoring system whereby europeans are given favor due to their economic influence. In the end, justice prevails via the "Chinese Downhill", a no-holds-barred race to the bottom of the hill. A must-see in my book. Enjoy.

Great for skiing fans for some of its stunts and an early nude scene might titillate some, but this teen sex comedy is largely vacuous.
