beautiful widly movie and i really enjoid to see high-rise

High-Rise is certainly bold and ambitious, a kind of post-apocalyptic film without the post-apocalypse. Being more of a fable than a story, it doesn't bother too much with plausibility, and the maddening ambiguity of Tom Hiddleston's (perfectly played) enigmatic character might drive some viewers to distraction. But if you can go with it (and I did) this is an unusual film experience with enough narrative drive to keep you engaged through to the end, and it's certainly a film I enjoyed and would see again. My only quibble is whether the commentary on class warfare is actually all that meaningful - like the high-rise itself, I wonder if the film is more surface than substance.

Keeping in mind I haven't read the novel, I rather enjoyed a lot about High-Rise. It's the good kind of bold film making that Wheatley has become known for. The is certainly not a film I would recommend for a fun sci fi trip, but rather, for anyone looking for something entertaining and out of the norm. I love the 70's look for a future tale and the punchline delivers, although I'm not sure it's what I thought the film wanted me to think. Where this film shines is in the editing and Wheatley uses excellent lighting to inspire feelings of lust, fear, boredom, and uncertainty.

The slick combination of contextual capriciousness and wayward symbolism gave me a serious cerebral hard-on. Another movie I couldn't possibly begin to dissect without falling into the bottomless pit of my own verbal excitement that could very well keep me glued to this computer for hours I can't really spare. Exciting project, fabulous acting, and a multifaceted message that comes across loud, clear and unfiltered. Jeremy Irons and Tom Hiddleston make for an impressive duo, elevating the directorial vision's dystopian glamour to mythical heights. Bracketed with Clint Mansell's tailored musical outfit, everything comes together in complete synergy to perfectly structure a movie about fundamental destruction. Minus a star over a few snags relating some of the wooden side performances and organic flow issues at times -- but that's just me being stingy with my fifth.

I don't know what, exactly, I just watched...it was frenetic, confusing, and violent...but God I loved every minute of it. Tom Hiddleston and Luke Evans can do no wrong.
