I just finished watching the movie "Hedwig and the Angry Inch" which was recommended to me by a friend. I also watched the documentary chronicling the off-Broadway play and origins of the narrative which led to said movie. I enjoyed it very much. I have always longed for movies that could speak to me emotionally, and those movies are always counted among my favorites. This movie is art. At the same time there is an intellectual side to it; thinking about love, and beauty, and morality. I don't know if I could "blanket-statement" say that I recommend this movie. Not everyone I know would enjoy this movie. But if you like art, if you like love stories (or rather a story about love), and especially if you like punk rock...I recommend this film to you.

I love this movie. How can you not love Hedwig - She's as comical as it she is beautiful. John Mitchell Cameron is a genius.

Excelente y única pelicula con fuerza visual, atractiva y adictiva. Con un argumento profundamente filósofico y social, poseedora de una banda sonora maravillosa que no solo pretende maquilllar la pelicula, sino que refuerza el argumento y la emoción de la historia.
