Stop Making Sense brilliantly represents Demme's endless love of musical performance and gleeful urgency.

Perhaps the best concert film I've ever seen -- we danced in the cinema aisles! But why the big suit, you may ask? And ask, again!

This is one of the few movies that I have a hard time explaining exactly why it's so great. Is it the music, the performances, or the visuals? All three are strong and Jonathan Demme (Silence of the Lambs) somehow found a way to keep the camera engaging all throughout it. Anyone that appreciates good rock music should (and will) love this.

I was blown away by this the first time I saw in in the theatre. Turn it up and be entranced.
