As per usual, I haven't read the book, but I have seen the six films before it. There's no doubt about it, this is the end. Storylines finally come to a close, death is overwhelming, everything's been building to this. The film's tighter than usual, has more action, has countless callbacks and cast returns. Emotions are heated and racked in all the right ways. As the end of a franchise it's done with precision and elegance. As a movie, it's pretty darn exciting and engaging. Of course, this is only the first half of the movie. I couldn't be happier with the cliffhanger - better ending than "Inception"!

This movie brought the Harry Potter movie adaptation to a new level, it served the original book right, and provided the best platform for the upcoming part 2 of the finale. Highly entertaining, and presented in a package orgasmic for the eyes and ears. The only negative point (on which I am not 100% sure of) is that it might be slightly less understandable for the movies' fans.

The movie was even more amazing if you had read the book. Absolutely stunning. Although there wasn't a lot of action in Part 1 of the Deathly Hallows, it was still a movie worth watching - well, obviously, otherwise you wouldn't have a clue of what's going on in Part 2. The entire Harry Potter saga is one of my all-time favorites.

This one is quite easily the best of the Harry Potter movies. I think they really nailed it with this one. The acting was right at oscar worthy, the cinematography was spellbinding, the music was great, they really got the mood of the book right, that nowhere was safe and they couldn't trust anyone. Now I am uber excited for Part 2.
