This is a fascinating movie. I dont know why it has so low ranking here at @RT but being an Indian, I could totally related to Asha's plight with Arranged marriage and having lived with an american roommate, I know this is a true story for Hank too and if it is not, I wouldln't mind being wrong. This is a great movie with great direction and video editing. I hope you guys make it together and make it big if this is real story :)

There were uncomfortable moments and it was predictable but I'm surprised at how much I enjoyed a film that only had video correspondence between two characters. Fun little film.

The idea of a found-footage romantic comedy about two far-flung would-be lovers sounds like a snooze. But "Hank and Asha" manages to be compulsively watchable, thanks to the smart dialogue, the film-student premise, and the winning performances by the lead actors. It's a "When Harry Met Sally..." for the Skype era.
